1.Overview of 6.35KV High Voltage Shunt Capacitor 100kVar - Power Capacitor - Capacitor Bank
- Capacitor made of case and pack, case is constructed of welding thick steel sheet. Outgoing porcelain bushing is welded and passed through top cover of capacitor, two sides of case provided with two lifting brackets, one of lifting bracket assembled with earthing bolt.
- Capacitor pack has several elements and insulated parts. It uses Polypropylene film as dielectric and Al foil as polar plate.
- In order to work in different voltage rating, the elements in pack are connected in series or parallel. As required, the discharging resistance can be built-in.

2.1 Classification

- 3.1 Casing: Cold-pressed, anti-fouling type casing is adopted, and the creepage distance is not less than 31mm/kV.
- 3.2 Mature internal fuse technology.
- 3.2.1 After testing, the internal fuse can isolate the faulty component within 0.2ms, the release energy of the fault point is not more than 0.3kJ, and the remaining intact components are not affected.
- 3.2.2 Advanced concealed internal fuse structure, using oil gap arc extinguishing, reducing the possibility of blasting the capacitor case.
- 3.2.3 The internal fuse protection and relay protection have perfect coordination standards to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the entire device.
- 3.3 Liquid medium: 100% insulation oil (NO PCB) is used. This liquid has excellent low temperature performance and partial discharge performance.
